Acquiring the family farm in 2016, Katrina Meal and her partner decided to turn their farm's main barn into a dream venue for weddings and local events resulting in Hunny Creek Haven. Equipped with modern convenience and comfort, this barn venue sustains its original 1800's charm in all of the detailed design. "We love Christmas and wanted to bring some Christmas cheer to the venue!" says Katrina Meal, "Our family grew this year when we were blessed with our daughter, so we wanted to start a new tradition, which brought us to Santa's Workshop at Hunny Creek Haven."
Santa's Workshop is Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 1p-5p.
"We have a variety of things for kids to do, as well as, storytime [ at 2:30p and 4:30p]," informed Meal.
Santa's Workshop includes creating an ornament craft, decorating cookies, pictures with Santa, and a hot cocoa bar.
"We wanted to make this event more than just fun activities for the kids so we decided to do a toy donation for Toys for Tots," shared Meals. "Each kid who brings a toy will have their name entered into a drawing to win the Christmas book read at storytime!"
Tickets for this event are on sale now. Kiddos under 1 year and adults are free. . The first two kiddos to be registered in a family are $25 each and each additional child is $20 each.
